Dosing
Built up gradually, reviewed at every step.
Four strengths, stepped up every 30 days so your body can adjust and side effects stay manageable. Your prescriber sets the pace, and can hold a dose longer whenever that's the right call.
1.5 mg
A deliberately gentle start. The aim is adjustment, not effect, though many people notice quieter appetite within the first weeks.
Not everyone needs the highest dose. Your clinician reviews how you respond at every step and can hold, raise, or lower the dose whenever that is the right call for you.
A tablet with a technique. Thirty minutes, then breakfast.
One tablet each morning on an empty stomach, the half-hour wait before food is what lets oral semaglutide absorb properly. After that, the day is yours.
- Once a day, on an empty stomach in the morning
- With up to 120 ml of water, swallowed whole
- Wait 30 minutes before eating, drinking or other oral medicines
- Missed a day? Skip it and take your next scheduled dose tomorrow

What to expect
Month by month, honestly.
Oral semaglutide builds gradually, so the experience changes month by month. Here is what the journey typically looks like.
- Week 1
A quieter relationship with food
After the first tablets, hunger signals soften and fullness arrives sooner. Mild nausea can appear as your body adjusts; smaller, slower meals help.
Day 1first dose, delivered to your door
- Months 1 to 3
The early steps
The dose builds through the ladder, one step every 30 days, and the scale starts to move. Check-ins confirm how you are responding before each increase.
30 daysat each dose step
- Month 4
Reaching full dose
Most people reach the 25 mg maximum dose around day 91, if it is right for them. Steady, consistent loss is the goal, supported by coaching on food, movement, and sleep.
25 mgmaximum dose from day 91
- Month 6 and beyond
The full effect
By now most patients have settled at the dose that suits them. Your clinician helps you plan for maintenance that outlasts the medication.
Month 6+maintenance planned with your clinician

Individual experiences vary, your clinician sets the pace.
Side effects
What is normal, and what is not.
Side effects are similar to the injection: mostly digestive, usually mild, and most noticeable around dose changes while your body adapts. Knowing what is normal, and what is not, keeps you confident.
Common, and usually settle
- Nausea, especially in the first days after a dose increase
- Constipation or diarrhoea
- Indigestion, burping, or reduced appetite beyond what you expect
- Headache or tiredness in the first weeks
Speak to a clinician if you notice
- Severe stomach pain that does not pass, with or without vomiting
- Signs of dehydration, such as dizziness or dark urine
- Pain in the upper right of your abdomen (gallbladder symptoms)
- An allergic reaction: swelling, rash, or trouble breathing
- Persistent vomiting that stops you keeping fluids down
Reviews are built into every Curate plan and you can message your clinical team at any point between them. You are never adjusting alone.

How quickly can I start?
You can complete the online consultation today, it takes about five minutes, and a UK-registered clinician reviews it, usually within 48 hours. Every dose is in stock, so once approved, your first month is dispatched in discreet, plain packaging.
What's included in the price?
Your treatment, delivery, unlimited clinical messaging, clinician reviews and dose adjustments, and pharmacist support, all included. Nothing is added at checkout.
What if treatment isn't right for me?
A UK-registered clinician reviews your full health history before anything is dispensed. You pay when you order, but if they decide the pill isn't appropriate for you, you're refunded in full.
Why is my first month cheaper?
Every new patient's first order is automatically discounted, no code, nothing to type. After your first month you pay the monthly plan price for your dose, or £20 more per order with no commitment. The price always follows the dose your clinician confirms.
Is the pill as effective as the injections?
The injections currently edge ahead in trial results; the pill wins on convenience if needles are holding you back. A clinician can help you weigh up which suits you.
Do I have to subscribe?
No, you can pay per order with no commitment, though it costs £20 more per order than the monthly plan. Most patients choose Subscribe & Save: our advertised price, delivery included, and a monthly plan you can cancel any time. The 3- and 6-month plans save £10 and £20 a month; leave one before it's complete and a flat £60 cancellation fee applies, never if a clinician stops your treatment.
How do I take it?
One tablet each morning on an empty stomach, swallowed whole with up to 120 ml of water. You then wait 30 minutes before eating, drinking or taking other oral medicines.
Refer a friend. £60 for them, £60 for you.
Your link gives them £60 off the monthly price, our lowest price anywhere, automatically, and once their first order is delivered you get £60 of credit towards your treatment or Curated Nutrition.
