Mounjaro is built up gradually, a process called titration. Starting low and stepping up roughly every four weeks gives your body time to adjust and keeps side effects manageable.

What are the common side effects?
Most people tolerate tirzepatide well. Mild gastrointestinal effects, such as nausea, reduced appetite and occasional reflux, are common in the first four weeks and usually ease. If symptoms are severe or persist, contact your clinician. For severe abdominal pain radiating to the back, stop and seek urgent medical advice.
